A Egg a Day Keeps the Doctor Away

469855766_c23a749794[1]Here is some quite eggciting news about eggs, I don’t know quite why there seems to be such a focus on them at the moment but they do seem to be in the news quite often.

And this time it’s even better news scientists are now saying that eggs are a good way to keep your blood pressure under control, they have discovered that eggs have a naturally occurring compound which is the same as some blood pressure lowering medication.

This news comes after the previous stories that have said, they are bad for your heart. The drugs that are normally used for controlling blood pressure work by stopping a hormone from being produced which is called angiotensin and this tends to narrow arteries when there is too much of it.

The researchers in Canada Alberta found that, once the egg comes into contact with the stomach and its enzymes it produces the same protein, that the medication does so hence having the same effect. Here is another good result from the study fried eggs work just as well, the researchers claimed that it still is early days and more work needs to be done as well as tests.

Researchers in the United Kingdom have said that the fat that is contained within eggs, has no detrimental effect on health whatsoever as far as raising cholesterol levels. And to add further to this it is now being claimed that eating cheese and other dairy products which are high in calcium may help with preventing bowel cancer, researchers monitored 490,000 participants for a period of eight years.

It was found that women who ate the dairy produce were far last likely to contract bowel cancer than those who didn’t this figure was typically 23 percent of the participants who were in the study.

So it would seem that eating some dairy produce within your diet isn’t so bad as what you thought it would be. And especially eating eggs so more not good news on the egg front again another bonus of this is they are very low in calories. And for those who like to check grammar and spelling etc I did spell exciting wrong merely to inject a bit of humour in to the article.
