14 Days of Healthy Eating Recipe’s Day Two
Hi all here is day two of healthy recipe’s
Breakfast
Have a poached egg on some wholemeal/grain bread more wheatier the better, with mushrooms, with 1 tsp of low fat spread, grilled mushrooms and a glass of orange juice or pineapple juice. Juice it yourself if you have the means it will taste better.
Lunch
One toasted bagel filled with low fat cheese soft cheese use cottage cheese if you already eat it, add to this a small portion of smoke salmon, and serve with some salad, and have a small bowl of strawberries
Dinner/Tea
I piece of chicken breast no skin, this needs to be grilled. One shallot, 1/2 of a red bell pepper, one sliced courgette, three slices of aubergine which will need to be stir fried in one tsp of olive oil with some chopped tomatoes. Serve this with some new potatoes and sprinkle a small amount of Parmesan cheese on top.
One scoop of low fat ice cream, with a banana and some no sugar jelly.

14 Days of Healthy Eating Recipe’s
Well we had a run on smoothies for seven days so now here are fourteen days of healthy recipe’s here is day one
Breakfast
Some muesli and blueberries which is with skimmed milk click the linked blueberries text to see a post about blueberries.
Lunch
Wholemeal pitta bread with Greek tzatziki see here how to make it add some cucumber which is chopped and a grated carrot
Tea/Late Dinner
Steak with potato wedges
1 barbecued medium steak, with some potato wedges served with some salad and 1tsp of low fat mayonnaise.

A Smoothie A Day (Day Seven)

Hi all this is the last day of a smoothie a day hope you have enjoyed them so here is todays
Kiwi Delight
Ingredients
1x kiwi fruit which needs to be the flesh only
1x 4 carrots chopped and peeled
1x green apple cored and chopped
1x some parsley
Method
Combine all the ingredient’s in a food processor/blender add ice to chill or leave to chill in a fridge

Hi its day six of a smoothie a day watch out for the last day tomorrow

Chocolate Feast
Ingredient’s
1x some dark chocolate
1x 2 spoons full of chocolate ice cream
1x a orange peeled
1x banana peeled and sliced
1x some strawberries
Method
Put all the Ingredient’s in a food processor/blender and serve in glass add ice to chill if needed

Here is todays smoothie day five enjoy
Berry Surprise
Ingredient’s
1x orange cored and made into segments
1x some mixed berries
1x apple remove the core and cut into pieces
1x some ice cubes 4 of
1x a drop of wine or whichever you have you don’t need a lot
Method
Add all the above into a blender or food processor and serve with strawberries on the side of the glass

Sunny Satsuma Surprise
Hi it’s day four of a smoothie a day and here is todays enjoy
Ingredients
1x 2 small satsumas,
1x apple which is dice and cored and sliced
1x 2 bananas sliced
1x some mixed fruit eg cranberries,strawberries,raspberries,or blackberries
1x small amount of some apple juice
1x tablespoon of honey
Method
Add all the above into a food processor or blender and serve either chilled with ice or serve straightaway

Hi folks it’s day three of a smoothie a day enjoy this one with it’s yummy purple colour.
Strawberry Surprise
Ingredients
1x 11oz or 300g of strawberries
1x some blackberries or cherries
1x cupful of green grapes or black which you prefer
1x 1/2 a pint of plain low fat yogurt or greek which ever you have handy
Method
Put all the ingredient’s in a food processor or blender and blend either serve as is or chill in your fridge for a hour or add ice cubes and serve straight away.

1x 225ml or 8floz of milk
1x 40 grams of rolled oats
1x banana cut this into chunks or slice it
1x fourteen fresh strawberries or frozen whichever you have
Method
Add all the above ingredient’s into a smoothie maker/blender and serve chilled or whichever you prefer.

Having not made any smoothies for a while I decided to get back into it, sometimes we do things and then let them slip and as I have just bought a new blender/smoothie maker decided to a series of posts over seven days each day having a different recipe so here goes. Enjoy the recipes.

Day One Recipe
Beetroot Bonanza
Ingredients
1x stick of some celery which will need to be trimmed
1x 3 large apples which will need to be sliced, peeled, and cored
1x two large carrots which will need peeling and cubing
Method
Add all the above ingredients into a food processor or blender add ice to add a bit of coolness if it’s a hot day to add a bit of chill to it.
