Exercise is a very good health booster all-round, and has many health benefits as we know, recently some findings have come out that now say this, that it’s good in preventing bowel cancer. Also one thing to add to this is eating a good diet is also important as far as bowel cancer is concerned.
In the United States scientists looked at 52 other studies that had been done in this particular area, and came up with a average statistic that suggests that those people whom do exercise regularly are 24 percent less to get the disease.
Colon Cancer tends to be one of the more common cancers that people tend to get, it is responsible for more than 16,000 deaths per year in the UK alone. And affects around the 36,500 people in the UK at any one time. The study looked at many different types of exercise which included walking, running, house work, and going for a workout in the gym.Keeping your overall bodyweight to what yours should be is probably one of the best ways to ensure that you don’t get this disease, here are some tips as well as regarding what you should be eating diet wise.
Try and avoid too much processed red meat, things like sausages have far more fat in them than they used to, cut down on the amount of burgers or hotdogs that you eat. Make sure you get the recommended daily amount of fibre per day which is 25 grams per day.
It has been estimated that a lot of us eat no where near the amount of fibre that we should be eating per day. So all in all another thumbs up for exercise again.
