We all know the importance of exercise and calories as a ratio eating many calories with very little exercise, all leads to one thing weight gain. But I think as people we tend to skim over the surface when it comes to knowing how many calories are in particular foods, but not only that how much exercise would be required in order to, burn those calories off.
So to give you some idea here is a ratio of foods and drinks and the amount of exercise you would need to do, in order to burn those foods off.
Fruits
1 Orange 59 cals exercise to burn it off canoeing 35 mins
1 pear 59 cals exercise to burn it off using a lawn mower 10 mins
1 banana 112 cals exercise to burn it off windsurfing 30 mins
1 Apple 62 cals exercise to burn it off weight training 13 mins
Whole Foods
1 Pot Noodle 384 cals exercise to burn it off tennis 60 mins
1 Quarter Pounder Mc Donalds 515 cals exercise to burn it off cross training 110 mins
1 Caeser Salad with chicken 374 cals exercise to burn it off 50 mins
1 All day breakfast Wimpy 715 cals exercise to burn it off 120 mins
1 portion of chips 240 cals exercise to burn it off ball room dancing 50 mins
1 tin of baked beans 346 cals exercise to burn it off boxing 45 mins
1 pepperoni pizza 198 cals exercise to burn it off swimming 40 mins
As you can see from this list which is by no means comprehensive, sometimes we think we are eating less than we realise and at times we are eating more calories and not exercising enough in order to burn those calories off.
Although on a side note the exercise that we choose, to do can determine how many calories we can burn.
