Is Cron The Secret To A Longer Life?

265567920_db19ec9e23[1]So what does Cron actually stand for, it is a acronym for Calorie Restriction with Optimum Nutrition.  I wrote a post a while back now about calorie restriction but this goes into a bit more depth, and what the effects can be.

A Longer Lifespan

Here are four typical examples of different life forms that benefited from calorie reduction within their eating habits.

  • A Bowl and Doily spider would normally live for an average of fifty days and approximately a maximum of day hundred days, if you change the diet to the calorie restriction it changes dramatically from a average of ninety days to a maximum of one hundred and thirty nine days.
  • A Guppy’s fish lifespan is on average thirty-three months and a maximum of fifty-nine months, when you change it over to calorie reduction, the average lifespan is forty-six months and the maximum being fifty-nine months.
  • Protozoan which is a basic life form, and can infect humans, its average lifespan is seven days and maximum is fourteen days, on calorie reduction it’s average is thirteen days and maximum is twenty five days.
  • A white rat whose average lifespan would be twenty-three months and maximum would be thirty-three months, switch over to calorie reduction the average is thirty-three and maximum is forty-seven months.

So as you look over these figures there is a dramatic increase. With the examples shown, switch over to eating the calorie reduction way.
