Quick Recipe of the Week

Hi weight lossers hope you are doing well, losing weight and alls good in your healthy new regime of losing weight well this hasn’t been done for a long time now so time to bring it back into the fold.

And this healthy recipe is not only quick it’s very healthy, calorie wise it’s hard to say but fiber wise it’s packed full of it.

So you will need some sweet potatoes and some baked beans it’s a twist on the old jacket potato except it’s using a sweet potato instead of a normal king Edward or just a, potato now we don’t want to get into the politics of potatoes so, here is how I do mine.

I get a knife and make puncture marks on both sides of the potato then to cook it, I use a microwave we have some plastic potato boats and they cook great on those made of plastic they are, now for the beans I put mine in a plastic container and add some chili powder this tops it off for me eating beans on there own seems a bit bland.

So when the potato is done split it in the middle and pour beans over it, before you do put the beans on the potato just stir the chili in then serve mmmmm yummy.

Doing it this way give you a fiber backed meal you don’t have to add chili thats just something I tend to do. You could try other toppings low fat cheese or pineapple low fat coleslaw.
