Yogurt May Help Mothers Lose Baby Fat

292373917_7fb34cf288[1]If you have been pregnant recently and had a baby, then this may be of great interest to yourself apparently eating pro biotic yogurt every day may be the key to losing your excess babies fat. Some pregnant mothers found that by eating a particular food that contained the bacteria which is found in most yogurts help them to lose baby fat.

A study has shown, a year after they had their babies they were far more likely to get back into shape after eating the yogurt. Apparently the reasoning for this is that the pro biotic ingredient helps to break down carbohydrates and sugars, so they don’t end up being stored as fat.

What they found was that by eating one pot a day, was more than enough to have the desired effect. They monitored the health of and weight of 256 women, during this particular period of time which was three months into the pregnancy and a year after giving birth to their child.

Some of the women were given probiotics, whereas some were given dietary advice, and some and some had both. After a year had passed of giving birth, the ones that had eaten the pro biotic didn’t have such a large pot belly.

Having a large waist or potbelly is well known for having health implications such as diabetes, heart problems and high blood pressure. However some caution needs to be exerted because some experts have said that eating certain types of pro biotic yogurt won’t that be effective, because they either have the wrong type or not enough.

The best brands are Yakult, Actimel and Multibionta.
